Educational Video programs that support Florida's K-12 curriculum and professional development programming for educators make up our primary content. School district representatives annually nominate and select instructional programming.Our Broadcast
The Florida Knowledge Network® broadcasts on digital channel 801 of the Florida Satellite Transponder. The Transponder is located on satellite AMC-3, 87 degrees West, Ku transponder 18, vertical. The Department has provided and installed appropriate satellite reception equipment in every school district, community college, university and public television station to establish a network for statewide reception.Programming is primarily distributed over digital multicast by Florida's public television stations. Broadcasts may also be received directly from satellite. Many districts and colleges redistribute programming on local cable and wireless public access channels.
