Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage Month begins September 15 and marks the celebration and anniversary of independence for five Latin American countries-Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Mexico achieved independence on September 16 and Chile on September 18.  During the months of September and October the Florida Knowledge Network® will broadcast a variety of programming relating to the culture and history of many Hispanic Americans. Visit our online broadcast schedule for times and dates of when the following programs will be played:
